Five steps, each closed by named deliverables. The first two form the audit and end with a GO / NO-GO decision. Until it is passed, build amounts are estimates only: nothing is signed, nothing is committed.

How do you know the project is worth it before committing the budget?

The audit led by Ailix Consulting ends with a GO / NO-GO decision. It rests on three questions: does the data you need exist, and is it usable? is the target process stable enough to automate? does the expected gain cover the cost of running it in production? When one of the three has no answer, the conclusion is NO-GO, the project stops there, and all you have committed is the price of the audit.

The data is not there

The process relies on knowledge that is written down nowhere, or on files whose freshness nobody can vouch for. An AI agent plugged into that answers wrong with confidence, and the error surfaces in production. Ailix Consulting says so during the audit.

Process

The process is not stable

Automating a process that is being redesigned means freezing an organization that has not finished deciding. Ailix Consulting then recommends stabilizing first, and gives you the criterion that will show the moment has come.

Economics

The gain does not cover production

A demo takes a few days to build. What costs money is integration with your existing tools, security, monitoring and handover to your teams. When the annual gain does not absorb that, the answer is no, however impressive the demo would be.

Identify the real sources of ROI, name the sponsor, set the perimeter and qualify the risks before any technical commitment.

Orchestration

Build in code: AI agents, RAG systems, automations and business tools, with human validations where the previous step decided. Nothing critical depends on a platform you do not own the code of. Automations remain exportable and hosted on your side.

Put the solution to the test: performance, security, hallucination control, real adoption by your teams, maintainability.

Ailix Consulting publishes no timeline commitment: the calendar depends on the perimeter, is set during the audit and appears in the costed roadmap. Its only timeline commitments are about access: a one-hour diagnostic, a reply within 24 h. During the mission, every step ends with named deliverables, and the technical project lead reports on progress, priorities and what has gone into service.
